Seminar on Contract Workers Act on July 31. VCCI president V Bhaskar Rao, on Tuesday, said the seminar would focus on the role of managing directors of companies in effective implementation of the Contract Workers Act.
The Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry, in association with the Vijayawada Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and Kochhar & Co, will organise a seminar on ‘Contract Workers (Regularisation and Eradication) Act, 1970 - Facts and Challenges’ at Hotel Southern Grand in the city on July 31.

VCCI president V Bhaskar Rao, on Tuesday, said the seminar would focus on the role of managing directors of companies in effective implementation of the Contract Workers Act. Human resource professionals from companies, line managers, labour consultants, advocates, representatives of construction firms and contractors can attend the seminar, he added.
