GHMC demolishes encroachments
On the eve of Ganesh Chathurthi, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) went on a demolition drive at various places in the city. Several encroachments from petty traders to fully concreted shops were razed to the ground by the task force. Several encroachments at Abids junction (Big Bazaar) to Bank Street and Government Maternity Hospital, Bata, Ramkote up to Kacheguda Junction were demolished.
