Hyderabad’s tallest Xmas tree at Hitex

Telugu film star, Rana Daggubati inaugurated the four-day Hitex Winter Carnival on Thursday. Set amidst a Christmas village themed backdrop, with the city’s tallest tree standing at 54 ft, the event comprises the sixth edition of ‘Kids Fair’, second edition of ‘Home Gardener’s Fair’ and the Christmas Carnival.

Hitex roped in a Tollywood art director, whose works include the brilliant sets in ‘Bruce Lee’, ‘Kick’ and ‘Kick 2’ to design the tree; the tree was built in about 24 hours and about 60 artistes worked on its magnificence. The three events at the Carnival have innovative adventure and indoor games, play activities and a sprawling food court set up amidst 150 stalls.
