The two-day Annual Sadhana Camp, organised by Chinmaya Spiritual Science Academy concluded at Vijaya Homes for Elders in Secunderabad on Sunday.

About 200 delegates participated in the camp, which was organised under the auspices of Gandhian High School, Picket. Dr M Nagabhusham Gupta hoisted the Om flag while Geeta Reddy Executive Officer; Yadadri inaugurated the camp to ignite the Sadhana Programme.

Speaking at the camp, Dr VK Ananda Prabhu, chief secretary of the academy said, “The programme is meant to blend the mind towards reality. Life is meant for realisation of self. Man is not born with problems, worries and tensions. But, he invites them with ignorance, selflessness, greed, ego and pride. Faith in the Scriptures, Guru and Spiritual Sadhana alone make an individual to live peacefully.”

Archaya K Satyamurty director of the camp said, “Today in this modern world, man had become very busy in his profession, position, possession and pleasures. This camp is a live sample to bring out the peace and harmony within him, his family and society at large.

The salient features of the camp are to bring awareness about the spiritual values for positive living through practice of meditation, chanting of slokas, homayagna, study of Bhagavat Gita and performing divine dance.” Dr Vijay Lakshmi, Indrarani, Lakshmi Shyamala, Bal Reddy, Surender Yadav were among the delegates present.
