Fashion talent and tech platform 6Degree, came up with fashion professionals and showcased their collection across the globe, with third edition of #NextInFashion at Angasutra last week.

The week-long fashion episode, which started from Friday, launched five budding fashion designers from different parts of the country, showcasing their signature collections.

Bangalore-based Gen-X designer Indrani Royan said, “I am influenced by the varied hues and styles of Assam and Bengaluru. I draw inspiration from the rich Indian heritage and give it a touch of modernity.”

Her collection was bright hues, cuts and styling. She has planned to add traditional designs and weaves from her homeland, Assam, in her collections. Her designs are worked on crepe, satin, raw silk and path muga.

Kolkata-based Esha Sethi Thirani, showcased her karigari work and said, “My work is a tribute to karigari. I used zardosi, embroidery and mokaish work.”

Sethi who showcased her collection at India Beach Fashion week this year is planning to go ahead and participate at Lakme Fashion Week.

Nishankh Sainani from Nagpur showcased his urban swag collection which was easy breezy type. One can find them casual made up of jute and linen cotton.

While Delhi-based designer Vedika Jhunjhunwala, roped cocktail wear collection that blended high end fabrics with modern structured cuts designed keeping in mind the bold Indian woman.

Pratibha Lalwani showcased her Indo-western collection and bridal collection made up of hand works such as embroidery, kutch work etc.

One can find the mix of sheer fabrics and bold cuts from printed crop tops, kaftans and trendy shirts to rich brocade skirt, raw silk jacket, and skirt lehangas were the highlight of the evening.
