Hyderabad auditions conclude

The first leg of regional auditions for the ‘Max Elite Model Look’ began with the Hyderabad round; the casting took place at Forum Sujana Mall in Kukatpally.

A huge turnout of fresh faces and enthusiastic young boys and girls was seen at the event. The jury consisted of prominent modeling and fashion industry celebrities - Marc J. Robinson (Franchisee, Elite Model Look), Vasanth Kumar (Executive Director, Max Fashion), Nicole Faria (Miss Earth 2010) and Manasvi Mamgai (Femina Miss India 2010).

The support from the cheering fans and guidance from the experts turned the contest into a memorable and exciting experience for the young aspiring contenders. The contestants were shortlisted based on criteria like their ramp walk, first impression and photogenic appeal and will now compete in the final selection round.

Commenting on the occasion, Vasanth Kumar said, “The previous winners of the contest are working with top Indian designers and also participating in the country’s most prestigious fashion shows. Our association with the world renowned Elite Model Look, Paris complements Max’s vision of democratising fashion and giving the Indian models the right exposure to establish themselves in the international fashion industry.”

Marc Robinson provided his expertise and said, “The contest is focused at discovering raw talent and fresh faces and the entire contest is conducted in real-time at malls”

The selected participants will compete in the national casting that will be held in Mumbai on October 3. The final 16 selected from that round will participate in the grand finale.

The winners will represent India around the world and stand a chance to win an exclusive contract with Elite and become an international supermodel. The female model will receive a cash prize of € 1.5 million, while the male model will get € 50,000.
