Decision Support System for HMWSSB
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has decided to implement a ‘Decision Support System’ for its officers.
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has decided to implement a ‘Decision Support System’ for its officers.
The decision came from the Board after its recent jurisdiction expansion to 600km that covers surrounding municipalities around Hyderabad.
In this regard, the Board decided that in order to monitor and address service issues, such a system would be required.
The Decision Support System (IT) will aid officers to study the behaviour of customers, grievances and infrastructure issues and take appropriate decisions adopting predictive modelling for discharging their duties effectively.
The system will be implemented using available data and existing command control centre at HMWSSB, Board Office.
In this context, Synchrony Financial took Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to study O&M Division-V as a pilot model and will analyse data and provide necessary parameters to the management for improving the organisation potentialities on operations.
