Bhadrachalam: On account of Vaikuntha Ekadasi celebrations, Lord Sitaramachandra Swamy gave darshan to the devotees in the Ramavatara here on Thursday. Special pujas were performed to the deity.
Amidst chanting of Vedic hymns and accompanying music party, the decorated deity was taken to the Mithila stadium where Vishwaksena puja, punyavachanam and other special pujas were performed.
Upon witnessing the deity in Vaikuntha Rama attire the people were seen overwhelmed by devotion and dedication. Later, the deity was taken in a procession to Tiru Streets. On Friday, the deity will sport Balaramavataram.
