​Nizamabad: District Collector Dr Yogitha Rana urged people not to waste even a single drop of water as it was very precious. Participating in an awareness camp on the judicious use of water in connection with the World’s Water Day at Nayalkal village in the district on Wednesday, she administered a pledge to the villagers and students not to waste water.

If steps were not taken to save water, generations to come would not have any water to drink, she added. Ground water resources were drying up and the water table was falling. They have to be utilized properly, she said.
