Pocharam directs officials to speed up Mission Kakatiya works
Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy warned the officials that stringent action would be initiated against those delaying the Mission Kakatiya (MK) works.
Nizamabad: Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy warned the officials that stringent action would be initiated against those delaying the Mission Kakatiya (MK) works.
He held a review meeting with officials over Mission Kakatiya and land distribution scheme for SCs at Pragathi Bhavan here on Thursday. Pocharam directed the officials to inspect works regularly.
The minister instructed the officials concerned to identify the lands in the respective mandals which are suitable for cultivation. These lands have to be cultivated this year, he said.
Pocahram urged the officials to involve farmers in Mission Kakatiya works and approve tanks which are more useful to them.
Contractors who delay the works will be removed, said the Minister. MLC V G Goud, District Collector Yogitha Rana and officials were present.
