Better passenger amenities at Kacheguda rly stn soon

Kacheguda: The South Central Railway (SCR) general manager Vinod Kumar Yadav inspected the Kacheguda railway station recently and directed officials to increase the frequency of announcements through the public address system and to display the train details on arrival/departure boards at entrance and on platforms for in time dissemination of information to passengers.

This station caters to passengers who travel towards Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

The GM inspected ATVMs, ticket booking counters and catering stalls. He interacted with passengers of Kacheguda – Bangalore express. He was accompanied by Arun Kumar Jain, divisional railway manager, Hyderabad division.

Yadav who had a detailed discussion with officials of both the Divisions expressed satisfaction on the arrangements made to handle extra rush of passengers. He advised officials to monitor the situation from time to time and to ensure smooth flow of traffic at stations and also to facilitate the passengers while boarding the trains to avoid any hardships especially in general compartments.

M G Sekharam, principal chief commercial manager; G M Eswara Rao, Additional chief security commissioner, SCR and senior railway officials accompanied the general manager during inspection.
