Opening the concert at Hard Rock Café on Thursday with the song “That girl” made the night special and the performance by Zedde, the Mumbai; based hard rock band, thrilled every single member at the audience. But, Zedde would remain incomplete without ‘Mumbai’-that was next their song reminding them of their place and narrating their perception to us. The concert continued to ‘Dust on my window’, ‘Mirror’, ‘Dead End Street’ and few more of their own compositions, and they finally headlined with the covers of G‘n’R and Deep Purple.

“It is really good to see that Hyderabad’s rock scenario is improving”, said 2blue, lead vocalist who has performed in the city several times. “I have been coming and playing here since 2006. I can say crowd is evolving these days. Earlier they preferred listening covers from popular bands but now, they have accepted original songs from new bands and that is very rewarding for all of us,” he added.

Zedde is a four member band with 2blue on vocals, Claver on guitars, Chirayu on bass, and Trevor on drums. The band is all set to release their debut album and is recording presently.

“The album will have 12 tracks, but the title is yet to be decided. There are few songs that we have performed tonight. Those apart, we have songs like ‘Away (a farewell song)’, ‘Why I shouldn’t hide’, ‘Mr Horny’.” shared the singer who believes that live concerts are the best way to reach out to their audience. “Nothing can even get close to the vibes that we get from our crowd while we perform,” he expressed in excitement.

They are faithful and dedicated to the hard rock “Well, we are maintaining the pure sound of hard rock in our first album, we cannot spoil the sound just to add something in the name of experiment. But we will try out with some Indie elements in near future,” 2blue concluded.
