Pragati School holds science, maths fair

Pragati Vidynaniketan High School, Amberpet, Hyderabad held a science, mathematics, consumer and social awareness, computer graphics and animation fair in its premises on Saturday.

“The students brought out their innovative ideas, creative minds and exhibited their talents making the event a grand success,” said Principal and correspondent of the school S Madhusudhan. P Sudhakar (maths faculty), Raghunath (science faculty) and Geetha (social faculty) and other co-conveners of maths, science, social and computer departments co-ordinated with the students for the event.

As part of the school’s initiative to raise consumer awareness, the students exhibited unfair trade practices, deficiency in services, certification of trademarks and in social awareness. The displays talked about child rights, unity in diversity, dowry prohibition and Nirbhaya Act.
