MJCET rewards college athletes. MuffakhamJah College of Engineering and Technology rewarded its students for excelling in the inter-college and intra-college sports and games. The Khel Awards Ceremony honoured the students in indoor and outdoor sports.

Chairman of Sports Development Committee and secretary of Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society Zafar Javeed gave away the cash prizes to students. The football team that won three inter-engineering tournaments and was declared the second runners up, was handed a cash prize of Rs 30,000.
The MJCET basketball team was given a cash prize of Rs 15,000 for their excellent performance at the Osmania University Inter-College tournament. Students Minita, Syeda Naimat Unnisa, Nitish Reddy and Moiz Abdul Samad were also awarded cash prizes.
