He compared the newly formed State of Telangana to a newborn and the government to a paediatrician. As a paediatrician took care of the little ones, the newly formed State also needed a lot of care by the government because every decision proved to be decisive for the future generations, he said and vowed to take the State to the top in all aspects.

Lakshma Reddy appreciated the Rainbow Hospitals for spreading to various parts with an intention to save children and pave way for a healthy society, thereby reducing infant mortality rate and maternal mortality rate. He further enlightened people on various schemes implemented by the government like ‘Sanjeevani Arogya Pathakam’ which aims to start ICUs in all government hospitals in the State for providing better services to the poor.

After the conclusion of the event, Rama Rao and Lakshma Reddy planted saplings in the backyard of the hospital. Kukatpally MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao, MLA Arakapuri Gandhi and Serilingampally TRS president Srinivas Goud were present.
