The retailer is all set to offer very attractive pricing on grocery and other non-food merchandise, which triggers sub conscious buying needs essential for home and kitchen amongst shoppers.

“Our unique initiative this year has been the dissemination of a ‘Freedom Passbook’ at the beginning of the month for our shoppers which has a glimpse of 15 unique set of offers meant for the August 15,” said Shashwat Goenka Sector Head, Spencer’s Retail Ltd. The company expects to grow by 15 per cent over last year during the Independence Day sales campaign period.

“Our initiative also includes one rupee pricing on select grocery essentials on a minimum bill value of Rs 1999. This has been done keeping shopper preference in mind so that customers can plan their purchases well in advance and choose Spencer’s as ‘the shopping destination’ this Independence Day,” added Goenka.
