The four photographers, Masood Husain, Carlos Delpozo, Hari Priya and Joe Koster use their experiences to showcase their individual perspectives of life through a group show presented by Goethe Zentrum. The show merges images of landscapes, heritage architecture, animals, portraits, culture, travelling and still life.

Sharing about his photographic experience Masood Husain, wildlife photographer, who began his tryst with camera in 2010 said, “The photos are from different parts of the country; some of them I shot in India in different cities, a few rare species like this photographs of Fauna that we can only find in Himalayas. There are 12 types of fauna in world from which, I have shot 9 and the rest of the three, I am waiting to shoot this year.”

His photographs have captured different animals in their natural habitats; like the one of ‘Storks’ which he captured at night using a slow shutter speed to create some motion blur. This picture was called as ‘Painted Storks’. It was taken in the lake after sunset. Indicating to yet other picture, he related, “This picture of tiger was very interesting.

This sub-adult tigress was shot at Tipeshwar, from the lesser known jungles of central India. Many people don’t know that there are tigers in the area. Some people working in that area told me about the presence of tigers, so I went there and shot it.” He has covered Uttarakhand, Haryana, Goa, Karnataka, Himalayas and central India during his photographic trails.

The photographs exhibited in the show by Carlos Delpozo, a Spanish national, who has been settled in Hyderabad are from places like Singapore, Varanasi, Thailand, Spain, Hyderabad and Hampi. His passion for photography particularly towards landscapes started taking shape in 2012. One of his photographs was shot at Varanasi Ghat. “This is from Varanasi when there were Diwali crackers being burnt everywhere.

It was late in the evening; I went alone towards the ghat and was thinking about my early evening boat ride along the Ganga River when a small and solitaire boat passed in front of me firing the last crackers of an intense day.” Another of his shot was from Spain that is a beautiful sight of the fields of lavender.

Joe Koster, a Swiss national and trained musician has been living on and off in Hyderabad since 2003. The photographs clicked by Joe represent nature; there were still photographs and pictures from his childhood life in Switzerland - of Icy Lake and black coots that remind him of his childhood, family, friends, music and school.

The works by Hari Priya, a photographer and accessory designer captured architecture, landscapes, portraits, dance performances in a stylistically rich manner. One of the photographs ‘Knot by Knot’ the work of a weaver preparing the very popular and extremely delicate Kashmiri carpet. “My photographers are from my travel journeys, from different places.

As I am a lifestyle accessory designer, I am more inspired from art and culture. The theme is ‘life’ and I wanted to put forth my perspective of life. I believe in slow life, but these days, people are in a tearing hurry. I would say, go calm and enjoy life, and you can see the mood in my pictures.” she shares.
