The hall is to be built at Saket in Kapra Municipality on the outskirts of the city.
Lok Sabha member Malla Reddy allocated Rs 25 lakh for construction of the community hall out of his MPLADS funds. After the puja, the two leaders indulged in heated exchange of words on the stage. Srinivas threatened Prabhakar to expose what he called the latter’s “shady” past. However, the MP intervened and prevented the wordy duel snowballing into a major controversy.
