Padma comes hard on land sharks
Local corporator Ramavath Padma Srinu Naik warned land sharks that the encroached lands would be diverted for 2BHK scheme. She came hard on land sharks while on an inspection of 1.17 kuntas of land in between Huda Bharathi Nagar and Balaji Nagar Colony on Tuesday.

She alleged that some private persons encroached the vacant government land at Survey no 60 and divided it in to plots and were trying to sell them. In the last few months there were several cases where people complained of illegal deals. Rohit a resident of Saroornagar said that he almost fell into the trap and was saved when he verified the land title with a lawyer.
The corporator urged the MRO of Saroornagar to inspect the land and secure it from the encroachment. She warned that if the land was not secured, she would complain to the collector and CM, make sure to utilise it for 2BHK scheme.
