He gave away passbooks and cheques to the farmers of Tuprakhurdu, Kalvakol, Porandla villages in Maheswaram mandal and Jaitwaram, Dasarlapalli, Debadaguda villages in Kandukur mandal.

He gave away passbooks and cheques to the farmers of Tuprakhurdu, Kalvakol, Porandla villages in Maheswaram mandal and Jaitwaram, Dasarlapalli, Debadaguda villages in Kandukur mandal.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said the scheme, the brainchild of the Chief Minister intended to provide investment to the farmers which could lead towards golden age in agriculture. This will give confidence among farming community and they need not worry about investment, fertilisers and even for minimum support price, he said. He further said that the state government introduced several schemes and took up projects for the benefit of farmers.

Teegala said farmers will receive Rs 4000 per acre for one season, which means Rs 8000 per acre as total investment. An amount of Rs 35.6 crore was sanctioned for 33473 farmers in Maheswaram assembly constituency.
