Krishnaiah distributes pattadar passbooks & cheques

BN Reddy Nagar: Legislator R Krishnaiah on Thursday distributed pattadar passbooks and cheques to beneficiaries under Rythu Bandhu scheme at the Sachivalaya Nagar ward office here on Thursday.

The beneficiaries were a pleased lot. A beneficiary said that it was the first time in life that such he was witnessing such a unique scheme and it would go a long way in the helping farmers. About 58 lakh farmers in Telangana are beging given fincnacial assistance of Rs 4,000 each for every acre of land they own.

The passbooks, which have been printed after a State-wide verification of land records, will come with several security features. These include anti-copying feature, a unique QR code that helps in ascertaining the profile and transactions held and a barcode with a unique transaction id.

Local corporator Muddagouni Lakshmi Prasanna Rammohan Goud, Mansoorabad corporator Koppula Vittal Reddy, Vanasthalipuram corporator Jitta Rajasekhar Reddy, Hayathnagar corporator Tirumal Reddy, Hayathnagar MRO Suseela, Vanasthalipuram CI Muralikrishna, VROs Kotilingam, Chennaiah and Surender, VRAs Ramesh, Basvaraj and Raj Kumar were present.
