BJP stages dharna demanding opening of 100-bed hospital in Malkajgiri
Although the 100-bed hospital here is ready to meet the needs of the poor and middle class families, no date has been fixed for the inauguration and no staff has been allotted to it. To protest against the hospital equipment not being readied, local constituency BJP convener S Srinivas Mudiraj and the party activists staged a dharna on Monday.

The protestors pointed out that the city residents were suffering because of the hospital not being made available to meet their health needs. They contended that although Malkajgiri was the largest constituency it faced many problems. The BJP activists wanted the hospital to be inaugurated immediately so that the residents could benefit.
Among the participants in the dharna were R K Srinivas, Ravi Yadav, Bhanu Prakash, Ramesh Goud, Mohanraj, Gopu Ramana Reddy, Narsimha Goud, Rajyalakshmi, Prasanna, Dhanalaxmi, Mallikarjun, Dhanraj, Lakshman.
