KEATS donates `5 lakh to school

Managing Trustee of Kakinada Engineering Alumni Trust for Service (KEATS) Y V Subramanyam and some members on Wednesday handed over a cheque of Rs 5 lakh to principal of Vivekananda Convent High School at Musapet goods shed for educating 52 poor students.
Madhapur: Managing Trustee of Kakinada Engineering Alumni Trust for Service (KEATS) Y V Subramanyam and some members on Wednesday handed over a cheque of Rs 5 lakh to principal of Vivekananda Convent High School at Musapet goods shed for educating 52 poor students.
The amount includes scholarship of Rs 10,000 to three meritorious students. Among those present were KITS representatives Jagannadh Rao, K Ramesh, school students. Subramanyam told The Hans India that the trust has been handing over such cheques during the last three years. It was also offering assistance to two orphanages in Hyderabad.
