Minister Talasani Sinivas Yadav holds review meet on Bonalu festival
Stating that all the necessary arrangements would be put in place for Bonalu, Minister for Cinematography T Srinivas Yadav asked the officials of different departments to coordinate with Bonalu Committee members.

He interacted with the officials of police, traffic, water board, GHMC, electricity and others along with Bonalu Committee members on Wednesday at Salarjung Museum.
He instructed the officials to take up the arrangement works with priority on the stretch that would be used during the Bonalu festival procession. Officials of different departments, temple committee members and Bonalu organizers attended the event. Srinivas is in charge of the Bonalu festival by the State government. He said that state government would spend the sufficient funds for the arrangements and preparations of Bonalu.
He further said that the meeting was the conventional meeting held every year before the Bonalu and different issues related to festival, procession and arrangements were discussed. It was the third meeting in connection of Bonalu held under the supervision of minister. The previous meetings were held in connection with Secunderabad and Golconda.
Special instructions were given to the traffic police for making proper arrangements in festival area. Similarly, a police SI along with constables would be deployed at every temple in old city during the festival. There would be installation of CCTVs at the crucial points to monitor and keep a watch on the crowd.
On the other hand, GHMC officials have assured that additional sanitation teams would be deployed during the festival. Water Board officials were instructed to make sure that devotees get proper drinking water facilities. Minister instructed the higher officials to monitor the works pertaining to Bonalu and keep him updated.
