Hyderabad: A two-day photo exhibition on unsung Muslim heroes of India's struggle for freedom will be held on Saturday and Sunday at Bookworm Reading Room, Red Hills in Hyderabad. The exhibition aims to pay homage to the unsung Muslim freedom fighters and will feature photos and brief history of nearly 155 such heroes from Siraj ud Dowla to Masooma Begum, whose contribution to India's freedom didn't get the rightful due.

The exhibition is a work of veteran journalist and research scholar Syed Naseerudin, who collected the photos and commissioned an artist to prepare their sketches. The exhibition was held in other cities earlier and will be inaugurated in Hyderabad on Saturday by Member of Parliament Asaduddin Owaisi at 9 am. Visitors, particularly youth can benefit from the display. The timings of exhibition are from 10 am to 6 pm.
