The Pradesh Congress Committee has decided to make extensive use of social media networking to popularise the pet schemes of the party like Food Security Act and counter the anti-Congress propaganda and criticism of the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi.

Hyderabad: The Pradesh Congress Committee has decided to make extensive use of social media networking to popularise the pet schemes of the party like Food Security Act and counter the anti-Congress propaganda and criticism of the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi.
The PCC is recruiting an army of social media foot soldiers. As part of this, it held a workshop for the first batch to train tech-savvy youngsters who are not full-fledged members of the party. The idea behind this move is to attract the urban youth of the state towards Congress party and Rahul Gandhi who is being projected as the prime ministerial candidate.
“We will use services of party sympathisers in their respective field of expertise. Some will be writing on or analyzing the party programmes in the blog that would be started,” said Vishesh national convener of the wing called ‘With Congress’.
