TJAC team to meet BJP bigwigs in Delhi

Hyderabad: Telangana JAC on Wednesday decided to embark on New Delhi tour to meet the BJP top brass in the wake of speculations emerging from national capital about status of Hyderabad. State BJP leaders would also accompany TJAC chief Prof. Kodandaram and his team during the visit.

This decision was taken in the meeting held at BJP state office in Nampally attended by members of the TJAC steering committee including Prof. Kodandaram. The TJAC delegation is likely to meet key national leaders including Sushma Swaraj, L K Advani and Rajnath Singh.

They would impress upon the BJP national leadership not to accept any proposal from the UPA government other than creation of Telangana with ten districts including Hyderabad. Also, the saffron party would be requested to oppose any draft by the Centre in parliament which would be different from the statement made by AICC incharge Digvijay Singh on July 30.
