Hyderabad: The firebrand spokesperson of AICC, Renuka Chowdary, on Monday made startling comments, saying that there is no guarantee the Telananga State will become a reality by 2014. In an interview to a vernacular channel, the AICC spokesperson said that the T leaders in the State should understand the political dynamics of taking forward such decisions. The T Congress leaders also should understand the mood of the high command. She said the process would take time as it has to resolve the issues that have cropped up after the announcement. Matured politicians should understand such dynamics, she said.

Referring to the allegations that she barged into the meeting of T ministers, MPs and other leaders on Sunday, Renuka said that she went there only because she was invited to attend the meeting. She felt that some leaders who had tacit understanding with TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao in the recent past objected to her presence there. “ I refuse to react to their comments as they are speaking with half knowledge,” she said. She said whatever comments she had made in regard to division of state in the past as AICC spokesperson were on the directions of the party high command. “None of those comments are my own,” she said. she felt that there is a need to start a dialogue with the agitating people form Seemandhra region as they feel pained that the State would be divided.

“At this juncture, in my view, my Telangana brothers should be magnanimous towards their Seemandhra brothers as they have almost achieved their primary demand of statehood to Telangana," she added.
