Hyderabad: The Ranga Reddy district Bar Council Association on Wednesday took a historical decision that no member would take up the case of the accused in Abhaya case. It is evident that a girl named Abhaya hailing from Bangalore was raped on October 18 by two drivers. The RR district Bar Council Association decided to not take up the case of the accused drivers, Satish and Venkateswarlu.
From the other side, a team led by the BJP leaders attacked the state Secretariat seeking justice to the victim. Many BJP leaders were arrested in this episode.
