The Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) today initiated ‘Green Pledge’ with the aim to create a greener and more sustainable future for Telangana State. Representative from TITA have gathered at Telangana Secretariat to launch and flag off ‘Green Pledge’ program at the hands of our Honorable Forest and Environment Minister Sri Jogu Ramanna.
TITA Green Pledge program developed to lower energy and utility consumption, conserve resources, and engage citizen in adopting low-carbon life styles.
TITA’s Green Pledge initiative is a long-term vision of developing sustainable environment in ‘Telangana State’ which focuses from the ground up, working hand in hand with Telangana Government, public service partners and corporates.
“Before we can convince our residents to lead greener lives, we must make clear the personal and social benefits of going green. TITA will be spread this ‘Green Pledge’ awareness about the environment sustainability in the society through this initiative and will be using various social mediums platforms like Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp effectively for popularize the cause. Green Pledge will be mainly focusing on Implementing 4 R’s - Refuse, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle wherever it is possible. Few of the activities include saving electricity, saving water, saving fuel, stop using plastic containers & bags, Paper Cup usage, Dispose of E-waste, Clear garbage and Clean surroundings. TITA requests everyone to educate and engage their family, friends, neighbors and coworkers to take this pledge.” said TITA Founder & President Sundeep Kumar Makthala.
TITA General Secretaries Naveen Chinthala, Ashwinchandra Vallaboju, Manoj Enaganti, TITA PRO Ramesh Podishetti, Joint Secretaries Kiran Mitakola, Organizing Secretaries Vishwak, TITA Corporate wing Vice-Chair Naresh, Nagaraj, Praveen, Ramana Padala, MD. Mansoor, Chandu, Sharat, Swamy Deva and others were present in the event.
