The occasion of Bhogi, a Kite Festival was inaugurated at People’s Plaza by Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya and MLA Laxman. A similar festival was launched at Shiparamam. The Hyderabad Polo & Riding Club’s (HPRC) traditional Kite Festival will be held today at its premises from 11 am to 10 pm.

The Kite Festival will have families, professional kite fliers and hobbyists who will throng to the HPRC ground. The event will have DJ, food and kite stalls. Colourful sails of all shapes and sizes including sky lanterns will soar, loop and dive as the onlookers take in the beautiful ballet while children will enjoy various games.
