Painter killed in drunken brawl.A painter was found murdered in an open yard of a local market in Gabbilalpet under Jawaharnagar police station limits on Thursday. Police later identified him as Ramchander, 45. He bore bleeding wounds on his head.
Hyderabad: A painter was found murdered in an open yard of a local market in Gabbilalpet under Jawaharnagar police station limits on Thursday. Police later identified him as Ramchander, 45. He bore bleeding wounds on his head.
“The assailants bludgeoned his head with boulders apparently after a drunken brawl last night,” inspector P Venkatagiri said.Though the police, with the help of sniffer dogs, were able to trace the two accused persons, they could not ascertain the motive behind the murder. Further probe is on. A murder case has been registered and the dead body has been shifted to Gandhi mortuary for post-mortem.
