Bhagat Singhs ideals necessary for todays youth
Senior journalist Tankasala Ashok highlighted the relevance of Bhagat Singh’s ideals in the present day at a convention organised by the Secunderabad Division and Extra Divisional Branches (EDB) of the South Central Railway Mazdoor Union (SCRMU) at the SCRMU auditorium on Monday. The convention was to commemorate the martyrdom of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev.

“Bhagat Singh’s values are very much in need in this age of economic reforms. It was not merely political freedom that Singh desired but also economic freedom,” Ashok asserted. Divisional secretaries K Siva Kumar and Yugandhar also spoke at the event. Youth co-ordinators Mahalaxmi and Rajesh presided over the event and Md Farooq Ahmed presented a report on youth activities.
