City-based author Vanaja Banagiri released her third book, ‘The Placebo Effect’, at Deli 9 Bistro in Gachibowli on Friday. Her debut novel ‘Butterflies and Barbed Wires’ was released in 2006 and an anthology ‘Hyderabad Hazir Hai’ in 2008. Set in Hyderabad, the new novel is a psychological thriller that tells the story of Menaka, Vaidehi, Rishi and Dev as their lives get entangled.
