Isolated rainfall occurred in Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Adilabad districts during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Wednesday. Hakimpet IAF Station in Ranga Reddy received four cm of rain, while Kukatpally JNTU, Asifabad and Saroornagar recorded two cm each. There was one cm each in Nawabpet, Golkonda and Hayatnagar.

Hakimpet IAF Station in Ranga Reddy received four cm of rain, while Kukatpally JNTU, Asifabad and Saroornagar recorded two cm each. There was one cm each in Nawabpet, Golkonda and Hayatnagar.

As the trough from Vidarbha to south Tamil Nadu across Telangana and Rayalaseema extends up to 0.9 km above the mean sea level persists, the Met department bulletin warned of light to moderate rain/thundershowers occurring at isolated places in the State on April 6.The bulletins said the day temperatures are likely to continue to be above normal by two to three degrees Celsius at a few places in Telangana for one more day.

Dry weather is likely to prevail from April 7 to 9. No large change during the subsequent three days is the weather outlook. The day temperatures were above normal at few places in the State during the last 24 hours. Adilabad continued to record the day’s highest maximum temperature of 42 degrees Celsius for the second day on Wednesday.

The other day temperatures in the State were: Medak, Nizamabad 41 each, Mahbubnagar 40, Bhadrachalam, Hanamkonda, Hyderabad, Khammam, Ramagundam 39 each, Hakimpet, Nalgonda 38 each.
