Khammam: District Superintendent of Police Shanawaz Qasim on Tuesday said that the police department was starting 'Fast Response Integrated Command Control System' (FRICCS) with the prime aim of providing safety to the people. Attending the 'Command and Control Training' here at Special Branch Conference Hall in Khammam, the SP said, “The training about maintenance of law and order, to control crime, reacting immediately to incidents in emergency conditions and coordinating that information with the concern officials and supervising them will be provided in this Command and Control Training.”
He also added that FRICCS would be highly helpful to the common people where they could immediately react to the crime, accidents, traffic jam, dharnas, eve-teasing and natural calamities by informing the nearest patrol staff and alerting other officials. Necessary steps were also taken by appointing the responsible police personnel in accordance to supervise the CCTV footage, handle the command and control system, police control room and Dial 100 and highway patrolling departments, the SP concluded. DSP’s Suresh Kumar, Ramesh, Sridhar Reddy, AR DSP Sanjeev, CI’s Thirupathi Reddy, Rehaman, Raji Reddy, Narsaiah, Anjaneyulu Nagendra Chary and Vijay Kumar were present along with other police personnel.
