Nalgonda: Satya Sai Seva Samithi organised ‘Walk for Values’ programme in Nalgonda on Sunday. Several devotees of the Satya Sai Seva Samithi and children of Sneha Orphan Centre and Charumathi Child Care Centre took part in the walk, which started from Satya Sai Spiritual and Service Centre located near Raghavendra Colony to Clock Tower and returned carrying banners and placards depicting the human, moral, ethical and spiritual values.
The walk was flagged off by organisation’s erstwhile Nalgonda district president Krishna Rao. Addressing the gathering, district resource person Dr Jayaprakash Narayana Reddy explained the importance of walk and expressed concern over declining human values in the society.
He appealed the youth and students to practice the values of Satya, Dharma, Shanthi, Prema and Ahimsa to become a perfect human being.
The programme ended with Harathi at Satya Sai Spiritual and Service Centre. In this walk, Krishna Babu, Vishveshwar, Srinivas, Narasimha Reddy and others participated.
