Kothagudem: Local legislator Jalagam Venkat Rao on Wednesday visited the land allotted for setting up of Krishi Vigyan Kendra in a 50-acre space in Chunchupalle mandal in the district.
Informing that Union Minister for Employment would lay the foundation stone, Jalagam asked the officers concerned to take necessary steps to provide drinking water for farmers who would attend the programme.
He also asked them to supervise the leveling activity of the land and to ensure the land has fence.Agricultural Technology Management Agency Chairman Picchi Reddy said approximately 2,000 people would attend the programme from all parts of the district.
Wyra Krushi Vigyan Kendra coordinator Hemanth Kumar, District Agricultural Officer Pratap, Panchayat Raj Executive Engineer Ram Chandram, Divisional Engineer Sudhakar, Agriculture Market Committee Chairman Maloth Harilal, Tahsildars Chakravarthi and Swami, MPP Banoth Kousli, Deputy Superintendent of Police Surender Rao were present.
