Pensioners seek implementation of EPS

District General Secretary of All Pensioners Association Machha Rangaiah demanded the government to implement Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS) as per the orders issued by the court. As part of the call given by the state committee of APA, the district representatives staged a massive dharna in front of the Provident Fund Office in Khammam on Monday.

As part of the call given by the state committee of APA, the district representatives staged a massive dharna in front of the Provident Fund Office in Khammam on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Rangaiah demanded the government to provide medical facilities to pensioners ESI besides the right of selling pension after 15 years of period. Further he sought the government to pay pending bills through book adjustments apart from implementing the EPS. Later, the representatives of APA submitted a memorandum to Provident Fund officer. Association’s district president of Bhadradri- Kothagudem MVSS Narayana and representatives took part in the protest.
