Sports meet for government employees in Khammam
The sports and games competitions would be conducted for all government employees from January 20 to 22 at Sardar Patel Stadium, said Aluri Srinivas Rao, district president of Telangana Employees Union (TEU). The representatives of the TEU on Friday inspected the arrangements for the sports and games competitions at Sardar Patel Stadium.
Khammam: The sports and games competitions would be conducted for all government employees from January 20 to 22 at Sardar Patel Stadium, said Aluri Srinivas Rao, district president of Telangana Employees Union (TEU). The representatives of the TEU on Friday inspected the arrangements for the sports and games competitions at Sardar Patel Stadium.
Speaking on the occasion, Rao said there was need to energise government employees who are playing a key role in running the governments. “To overcome stress, sports and games competitions are being planned where current employees from all levels and pensioners can take part. Cultural programmes would be organised on the day,” he informed.
Informing that family members of the employees can also participate in various events they are interested in, Rao urged the employees of about 63 government departments to participate in large numbers and make the event a grand success.
TNGO’s president P Ramaiah, Bala Krishna, Durga Prasad, Venkatapathi Raju, Ravinder, Ramulu, Rafi, Yakub, K Lingaiah, G Nageshwar Rao, B Venkateshwarlu, V Srinivas Rao, Jayapal, Srikanth, Sridhar, Prakash were present along with others.
