Investigating officer dealing with Srinivas murder goes missing
The missing of Nalgonda Two Town CI Venkateshwarlu from Friday morning has been creating ripples in police department. According to sources, CI Venkateshwarlu has switched off his phone after handing over his department mobile SIM at Madgulapally police station and surrendered his weapon through his driver.

It is believed that murders of Congress leader Boddupally Srinivas and another driver Palakuri Ramesh in his territorial police stations within a span of one week reportedly increased work burden on him and at the same time superiors instructions might have forced him to go missing.
Investigation officer’s disappearance in the wake of Municipal Chairman Laxmi’s approach to High Court in her husband Srinivas murder case has been raising several doubts in the public domain. District police started inquiry about the sudden disappearance of CI Venkateshwarlu.
