Bhongir: District Collector Anita Ramachandran has directed the Tahsildars and Village Revenue Officers to work in tandem while preparing pattadar passbooks post the land survey programme.

Taking part in a training programme conducted for Tahsildars and VROs at a private college in Bhongir on Wednesday, she informed the officials that as the government has scheduled to distribute high security pattadar passbooks from March 11, utmost care must be taken while uploading the data of lands and their owners on online.

She further asked them to print the passbooks after gathering cent per cent about the land and its owners. The Collector further added that errors in passbooks and issuance of passbooks to ineligible persons would not be tolerated at any cost.

“Do not leave everything to computer operators while uploading the data and cross check the information twice before making the data available online,” she directed.

On a special invitation, Mahbubnagar Collector Ronald Rose attended the meeting and gave some valuable suggestions to revenue officials. Joint Collector Ravi Naik, Trainee Collector Priyanka, DRO Mahender Reddy, Supervisor Srinivas Raju and others attended the programme.
