Congress bus yatra dubbed Tus Yatra by Pocharam
Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy has come down heavily on Congress Bus Yatra and described it as ‘Tus Yatra’. Addressing the media at R and B Guest House here on Wednesday, he predicted that the impact of the bus yatra, even if the Congress leaders deploy 100 buses as part of it, would have no impact on the people.
Nizamabad: Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy has come down heavily on Congress Bus Yatra and described it as ‘Tus Yatra’. Addressing the media at R and B Guest House here on Wednesday, he predicted that the impact of the bus yatra, even if the Congress leaders deploy 100 buses as part of it, would have no impact on the people.
Predicting the TRS winning at least 100 seats in the 2019 Assembly elections, he belittled the Congress by saying that it would not be able to defend its present double digit strength in the Assembly and would have to be content with single-digit seats.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured to double the farmers’ revenue but was silent on the modus operandi. He breathed fire on the Centre for being insensitive to farmers’ issues. Under the Pradhana Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, implementing the crop insurance scheme with village as a unit is not able to address the farmers problems who sustained personal loss. He went on record stating that the TRS government would soon launch a new scheme for the farmers.
He strongly felt the need for a viable alternative to the UPA and NDA and people of the country are eagerly looking towards KCR for leadership. The third front would play a new role in the nation’s politics and approach the people to fulfill their needs and to groom their future.
Nizamabad Rural MLA Bajireddy Goverdhan, Zilla Parishad Chairman Dafedar Raju, TRS district convener Eega Ganga Reddy and others were present at the media conference.
