Consumer forums urged to create awareness: Bhongir JC
District Joint collector Ravi Naik has said if any organisation or consumer forum comes forward to create awareness among the people on consumers rights, district administration is ready to extend its cooperation.
Bhongir: District Joint collector Ravi Naik has said if any organisation or consumer forum comes forward to create awareness among the people on consumers rights, district administration is ready to extend its cooperation.
Participating as as a chief guest in World Consumer Rights Day meeting here on Thursday, Ravi Naik said consumers forums should play a key role to create awareness among the people on consumer rights to protect them.
He urged the consumer forums to create awareness over online transactions in digital marketing and build confidence that there is no chance for cheating during online transaction and bill payment.
Stating thatthere is only one food inspector for Nalgonda, Yadadri and Suryapet districts, he said food inspectors would be appointedfor each district very soon to check adulteration.
