In the process of providing food to their livestock, shepherds belonging to Yadav community in Mahbubnagar district have been going round with their sheep in Nalgonda and Ranga Reddy districts.

The sheep that are taken to Miryalaguda area have been dying after grazing in the fields. Veterinary doctors conducted the autopsy on the deceased sheep. It is suspected that the sheep had died as they ate grass laced with pesticide.

After sudden death of as many as 60 sheep at Tungapadu in Miryalaguda mandal on Thursday evening, veterinary Doctor of Animal Husbandry Department opened a medical camp in the village on Friday.

Meanwhile, victim shepherds from Mahbubnagar district urged the State government to pay compensation to them to save from distress.
