Eight auto passengers injured in road accident in Nagarkurnool

​Nagarkurnool: Eight persons were injured in a road accident at Nallavagu Bridge under Nagarkurnool mandal when a cruiser collided head-on with an auto-rikshaw on Sunday.

According to eye-witness accounts, the overloaded auto-rickshaw, which was going to Nagarkurnool district when a speeding cruiser hit it near the Nallavagu narrow bridge.

Though there were no reports of casualties in the incident, condition of three out of the eight injured passengers is state to be serious.

All the injured have been shifted to the Government District Hospital for treatment. The police have registered a case and seized both the vehicles.
