Gadwal: District Collector Ronald Rose has directed the officials of all departments to speed up the process of distribution of Pattadar passbooks and cheques to farmers under Rytu Bhandu scheme in the district.

Ronald Rose has taken charge as in-charge Collector as Rajat Kumar Saini got deputation to the Central government. Soon after taking charge, Ronald Rose conducted a review meeting with the officials of all the departments in the district and said that the officials should take all the necessary measures to implement the Rytu Bhandu programme successfully in the district.

“As the state government has decided to implement the Raytu Bhandu scheme for the benefit of the farmers across the State from May 10-17, the Revenue and Agriculture Department officials have been directed to take all measure to carry out the task successfully,” said the Collector.

At present, as many 1.484 lakh farmers would get new Pattadar Passbooks. As many as 1, 23,000 have already been made ready for distributed to the farmers in the district.

For distribution of the cheques and land pass books the district administration has formed a team of officials, including Agriculture officers, Agriculture extension officers, Village Revenue Officers and two others to oversee the distribution of land passbooks and Rytu bhandu cheques.

Tahsildars of all mandals and special officials have been appointed to supervise the distribution process in a transparent way. Every day the distribution process is expected to begin from 7 am to 11 am due to summer season.
