Speed up paddy purchase to benefit farmers, Nalgonda Collector tells officials

​Nalgonda: District Collector Guarav Uppal instructed the officials concerned to speed up the purchasing process at the IKP and PACS centers in the interest of the farmers.He inspected the IKP centers of Dorepally and Pagidipally of Kangal mandal in the district on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, he told the officials to clear the paddy dumps from time to time and shift the purchased paddy to mills without any delay. He suggested to the officials to make available of tarpaulins so that the paddy does not get drenched in the rains. He advised the farmers to dry the soaked paddy to get MSP.

He directed officials to engage more hamalies for lifting the paddy bags to be transportedin lorries. He suggested to the officials to extend their cooperation to farmers to get rid of their problems at procurement centers. He also inspected the IKP centers in Thipparthi and Nalgonda mandals and instructed the officials for smooth purchasing of paddy.

In this programs, Revenue Divisional Officer Venkatachary, Tahsildars Venkateshwarlu, Murthy , Nagarjuna Reddy and others were present.
