SCCL to start production from new mines: MD N Sridhar

Kothagudem: The Singareni Collieries Company Limited Chairmen and Managing Director N Sridhar asked the company officials to make preparations for the opening of the new mines at identified areas.
On Friday, a meeting was conducted with all Directors and area General Managers at the Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, Sridhar asked them to start timely production from the new mines and play a key role in this exercise.
The CMD told officials to clear the over burden in those mines after it is ready for the production of the coal in new mines. He also reviewed the works of Over Burden (OB) in all coal mines during the meeting.
The contractors who are negligent in their work of clearing the over burden in coal mines would be removed from the task immediately and appointed new would contractors, he warned. At the same time he congratulated the contractors for doing the OB works in the mines. He also reviewed the coal production and transport targets area wise.
He told the General Mangers to do hard work to reach the annual target of production in this year. The Directors of the company S Shanker, B.Bhasker, SChandra Sekhar, ED Coal Mine BKishan Rao, Adviser Mining DN Prasad, Advisor of Forestry, Surender Pandey, General Managers T Nagesera Rao, Y Rajesekhar Reddy, YGK Murthy, Anthony Raja, Rushendrudu, and agents attended the meeting.
