tdpVijayawada: The Telugu Desam here on Saturday alleged that the YSR Congress leadership was playing mind game with people to save its leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy from graft cases. Speaking to the media, the party State general secretary, Varla Ramaiah, took strong exception to the way Jaganmohan Reddy, his wife Bharathi, sister Sharmila and others were reacting to corruption cases. 'Jaganmohan Reddy walks out of the jail to attend the court with a smiling face and folded hands only to create an impression that he is not guilty of cases. Jaganmohan Reddy's wife Bharathi's accusations against the investigating officer in the court, exposes the family's mind game to win over the hearts of the people,' he said. The TD leader said that the family members were now exhibiting their factionist-attitude of threatening and blackmailing the investigating officers. He appealed to the Central government to provide security for the investigating officers who have been looking into the corruption cases of Jaganmohan Reddy and other co-accused. He expressed fear that the 'Kadapa faction family' would resort to physical elimination of the CBI officers if the crimes were confirmed in the court of law. He wanted the Congress government at the Centre to provide security to the investigating officers. He sought to advise the YSR Congress leaders to ask for special court to try the case and dispose it at the earliest. He also alleged that the State had suffered heavily during the regime of late Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy with Rajasekhar Reddy, KVP Ramachandra Rao, Jaganmohan Reddy and Vijayasai Reddy indulging in heavy corruption. He asked the CBI to probe into the role of the three besides exposing the corruption of Dr Rajasekhar Reddy. The TD leaders Y Gowranga Babu, Rahim Afsar and Y Nagamalleswara Rao were present.
